The Miracle Free Gospel, known previously as the Gospel According to John, was originally written sixty or seventy years after the death of Jesus. Its original authorship is completely unknown. In the same way that the Gospel of Thomas contains no miracles, for centuries Scholars had speculated that the Gospel According to John, in its original form, also contained no miracles. It wasn’t until the recent Palestinian discovery of The Miracle Free Gospel that this theory was proven to be true. Using this find as a starting point, Archeologists were able to trace the evolution of the Gospel According to John, estimating that the ‘so-called’ miracles of Jesus were added to the text around 130 CE. The Miracle Free Gospel is believed to be the only original narration of the life of Jesus in existence. Some have even suggested that it was written in response to ridiculous claims that were being made about Jesus in some of the oral traditions that had been circulating.
